offroad rental FAQ's/Cancellation Policy

A: Cancellations of offroad rentals less than 7 calendar days do not qualify for a refund. Rescheduling might be available. 

A: Helmets are required for payson atv rentals to anyone under the age of 18. Children 5 and under must be secured in a proper car seat and will not need to wear a helmet.

A: No, we do not insurance. You may call your current insurance provider to see if they can extend a binder.

A: Yes, a $1000 deposit is required per Quad rental and a $2500 deposit is required for per side by side rental. Your card will be ran as an authorization only and can show pending for up to 7 business days before it disappears as long as we do not have to secure it for physical damages done to the offroad rental.  

A: Yes, off-road rentals can be picked up the night before at 4pm for an extra $125 or it is included with 3 or more rental days.

A: We are closed on Major holidays including July 4th and 5th

A: Unfortunately on occasion an offroad rental may become unavailable do to damage or mechanical failure. We will give you another machine. If we do not have any other machines to offer you, you will be notified ASAP and will receive a full refund.

A: No, driving on roads at constant high speeds ruins the belt, tires, and clutching. Within 5 miles of the Happy Jack location can be driven on road anything beyond that will need to be trailered to the dirt trails.

A: You may be pulled over and ticketed and will be charged $5 per mile driven on the highway with an offroad rental.

A: ATV Rentals can be picked up anytime after 9am for rentals. Please do not show up more than 15 min early unless told otherwise. Night before pickups can be arranged around 4pm for an additional $125.

A: ATV Rentals are due back by 4pm the last day of the rental. Unless otherwise arranged.

A: There is a $30 fee per 15 minutes late if the ATV or UTV rental is not returned at the designated time.  If the ATV or UTV rental is returned after 1 hour of being late, the renter is responsible for an additional day rental fee. (We like to go home to our families.)

A: Renters are required to be at least 25 years of age and have a valid credit card and driver’s license.

A: Must have a valid credit card and driver’s license. Reservations are easy just click on the reservation link and complete the form. We will email and text confirmation within a few hours can take longer if it was made after business hours. 

A: No, all offroad rentals are given with a full tank of premium gas and are required to be returned with a full tank of premium fuel. Otherwise we charge $10/gallon

A: Trailers are offered complimentary at no charge if available for side by side rentals and if renting 2 or more quads.  Not offered in Happy Jack location

A: Yes, the trail 433 is available for Payson onsite atv rentals. In Happy Jack they can be driven to Clint's Well or Jones Crossing rd 141 area or within 5 miles not more than 5miles of on highway driving.

A: The offroad rental can leave the state with permission but they can not ever leave the country.

A: If the offroad rental breaks due to abuse, you will be held responsible both for repair and recovery. If the malfunction was not your fault, We will try to give you another machine if available to continue your rental otherwise, we offer a partial refund or credit for future rentals and you are not held responsible for repair and recovery costs.

A: Inspect the offroad rental to make sure it is safe to continue driving and let us know what happened. The security deposit will be secured to go towards the damage repair and/or insurance deductible. An insurance claim will be opened if instituted by the renter. If the damage is less than the deductible/deposit we will refund the remaining balance after all repair expenses have been paid. If the damage exceeds the deductible/deposit you will be held responsible for the overage.

A: Not typically, however we might be able to make arrangements if it is for 3 or more days there will be a fee as the delivery would be coming from Florence, AZ.

A: There is a wash station next to the speedway at 701 AZ-260, Payson, AZ 85541 Just 3.4 miles west of Rim Country Powersports. We can also clean the atv rental but the shop rate is $125/hr with 30min minimum. In Happy Jack Clint's Well Gas and Go sells water to wash at $.25/gallon.

A: No, we are currently do not offer guided tours.
